HARABHARA OAT BRAN DHOKLA



INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup oat bran
  • 1/2 cup fat free curd
  • 2-3 tbsp. spinach puree
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp. white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cooking soda
  • salt to taste

For Tempering
  • 1 tsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. mustard seeds
  • 5-6 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp. white sesame


METHOD
  1. Mix the oat bran, curd, water, spinach puree and white pepper. keep aside for half an hour.
  2. Then add 2-3 pinches of cooking soda and salt.
  3. Pour the mixture in the dhokla stand and steam for 7-8 minutes.
  4. Cut into pieces.
For Tempering

  1. Heat 1 tsp. oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and white sesame
  2. Spread it on the dhokla. Cut into pieces
  3. Serve with green chutney.
